De film kwam uit in 1985 en in 2020 kwam de musical op de planken in Manchester. Hiervoor heeft STS een stage versie van een DeLorean gebouwd waarin 9 verschillende assen zijn geautomatiseerd. Het showdeck omvat 5 tracks en een revolve. Daarnaast hebben we een vijftal lieren en de automatisering voor verschillende andere effecten geleverd. Nadat de crew werd getroffen door Corona is mede door support van STS de premiere toch door kunnen gaan. Na de coronastop zal deze productie te zien zijn in Londen.
