Project scope

In 1946, the classic film Brief Encounters saw the light in the cinema of Haymarket. Now this Knee High Theater production of Noel Coward is back into a cinema at the Haymarket, the former Carlton Theatre. Special is the seamless transitions between theater and film. Emma Rice, artistic responsible for Knee High, takes you back to bygone era of romance. Life and love of three couples are played in the famous tea houses drive, on which words and music by Noel Coward a breathtaking funny, but also tears drawing show is put down. Welcome back to the days when cinemas had chandeliers, tea and champagne was served. STS was responsible for the lift and automated screen in this multimedia production. For this a 1.000 kg winch with two drums in combination with a pilewind winch was used.
