There are two different servers: the Windows PC server and the realtime IPC server.
The PC is for remote service or multi user systems.
The IPC is used for real time safety control of the axis, joysticks and Estops.
In a SiL3 installation two IPC’s are used.
The IPC can also be used to create a decentralised system for cable optimization.
