Innovation and heritage: new flywall automation system at de Eendracht

Earlier this year, Silicon Theatre Scenery proudly completed the installation of a new SIL3 flywall automation system at the social cultural centre De Eendracht in Gemert, located in the southeast of the Netherlands. This centre houses a theatre, library, and filmhouse, serving as a cultural hub for the community.

A rich history

The building of De Eendracht boasts a rich history, dating back to 1916 when it started as a dairy factory. Over the years, the centre has evolved into a versatile cultural venue, hosting a wide range of activities and events.

Modern technological innovation

Our team worked diligently to install an advanced SIL3 flywall automation system, ensuring seamless and impressive theatre productions. This technology not only enhances the efficiency of performances but also contributes to an unforgettable experience for the audience.

Training and collaboration

Alongside the installation of the new system, we conducted comprehensive training for the technicians of Theatre De Eendracht. The training took place in the theatre’s conference room, where our experts guided the technicians on using the new SIL3 flywall control system with the Asterix desk. Upon completion of the course, the technicians received their certificates, signifying their readiness to operate the advanced technology.
