Paddington brings the beloved story of a young, optimistic bear from Peru to the musical stage. Arriving at Paddington Station with nothing but a suitcase and a love of marmalade, he sets out on a heartwarming quest to find a new home in London. The production captures the charm and warmth of the original stories while adding the spectacle of live theatre.
STS supplied the automation, showdeck and performer fly installation for both the London and New York productions. The showdeck provides the foundation for the set design, while the automation drives the scene transitions and set movements throughout the show. The performer fly system allows characters to take to the air, adding a sense of wonder that suits the magical tone of the story. From Paddington Station to the rooftops of London, STS technology brings every setting to life.
